History It is the first capuchin house in the diocese of Chanda, is situated in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. This region was suggested to us by Mar Ephrem Narikulam, the bishop of Chanda since there is no Catholic presence in this area. We have bought five and a half acres of land in Mouza Chandewani village, just 700 meters from the Nagpur-Amravati Highway and two KM close to Karanja town centre. The laying of the foundation stone by Rev. Br Provincial George Antony on 14th February 2023. It was blessed by Mar Ephrem Narikulam on 09 March 2024.
